Ile aux Nattes is a haven of pure serenity and natural beauty, located just off the east coast of Madagascar’s main island, at the foot of his larger sister, Ile Sainte Marie. This unspoiled island measures 2.5 kilometers in length and less than 1.5 kilometers in width, offering 3 square kilometers of pristine, untouched landscapes. Here, the only modes of transportation are by foot or boat, which only add to the island’s remarkable charm.

However, despite its burgeoning popularity, the Coronavirus pandemic caught the world unaware, and the tourism industry in Madagascar suffered the brunt of it. And alas, even Les Lemuriens could not escape its impact. In 2023 Raymond sold Les Lemuriens and returned to France
